Master VEG Program 2018 Schedule
All classes will be Wednesday evenings, April 11 - June 9, 2018, from 6:00 to 8:45 pm. There will be a snack and social period before each class from 5:45-6:00pm. All classes but June 9 will take place at the People's Food Co-op located at 3029 SE 21st Ave in Portland. June 9 will be located at Portland State University. This is a preliminary schedule, and the order of talks is subject to change.Week 1: Class Introduction & Plant-Based Diets as a Path to Health. April 11, 2018

Week 3: Food Choices and the Environment & Animal Law and Agriculture. April 25, 2018

- Environmental impact of plant and animal-based agriculture: water pollution, air pollution, animal agriculture and global warming, resource consumption, habitat loss, water conservation, use of toxic substances in agriculture.
